I know personally I would rather shell out money for a fun Sunday brunch with my friends in Brooklyn after church, but sadly, that’s just not a reality of the world right now. Yet while brunch may not be happening in the ways we want, that doesn’t mean we have to eliminate it from our lives completely. Making one of these cheap brunch recipes at home can be just as fun!
And to be honest. while I do love a good brunch at a restaurant, it gets expensive really quickly. With the right ingredients, you can easily make brunch at home that will rival the restaurant’s around the corner, and for probably a quarter (or an eighth!) of the price.
Now, I know it’s important to support restaurants right now. Trust me, I’ve been doing my part to support my favorite eateries as much as I can. But if saving money is something you need to do right now, cooking at home is a commitment you should make for yourself. If you simply cook at home more, you could likely save up to $10,000 doing so. I know because, well, I’ve done it!
So do yourselves all a favor and make one of these yummy cheap brunch recipes at home. From crumbly pastries to egg dishes and even some savory treats (and cocktails!), here are a few of my favorite cheap brunch recipes to make on the weekends.
