Friday means cocktails, yes? I’ve always been a wine gal, but as we’ve started to collect different kinds of liquor and toys for our at-home bar, my eyes were opened to the creative world of cocktails. And, naturally, that means I’m all about having a great place to mix them.
No, this is not sponsored. While I will unashamedly throw in a link and tell you to buy your first box of Imperfect Foods, I’m doing it on my own terms. Why? Because I simply love this company, and I’ve had a lot of people ask me about it. So I wanted to tell you, my lovely readers, why this is my chosen grocery service I order from weekly.
You know, I’ve done a lot of gift guides in my day. Back when I was writing for Bustle I would whip up gift guides for every type of holiday imaginable. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be doing another one soon. But alas, when one of your followers specifically requests some Mother’s Day kitchen gifts that she can get her mom last minute…well, you know I can’t say no.
Day two of sharing one of my favorite Mexican recipes, and funny enough, this was also a recipe I liked to make in college. Even though I would buy tostada shells pre-made to go with my black beans and Mexican rice, I recently learned how easy it is to make these shells from scratch! So I figured I would teach you how to make tostadas.
Do you go through cocktail phases? For a while, I was really obsessed with any cocktails made with sparkling wine—like this white sangria. Then it was my orange whiskey sour. And now, well, it’s margaritas baby. I can’t stop making them. Like, I have to really force myself to only mixing up this margarita recipe on the weekend.
So…how’s everyone doing? It’s the beginning of a new month and I’m starting off strong with (yet again) another post about breakfast food. Cue Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” because I couldn’t help but post these sourdough crepes immediately. And y’all are going to thank me for this recipe. Did I scarf down an entire crepe as I was making the others? Maybe. Just maybe.
