I spent an embarrassing amount of time staring at a blank blog post tonight (by the time you read this, it will be the morning). Typically I type out a post after cooking dinner, or sometimes even while I cook. Yet tonight I had nothing to give. Truth be told, I haven’t been working on a ton of individual recipes lately. I’ve actually been enjoying cooking recipes from others, and as I cooked tonight, I realized…that should be my post! I have a lot of bloggers, chefs, and food editors I love to follow that post magnificent recipes all the time. So why not share a few of the recipes I’m loving lately?
Here are a few of my current favorites.
This Small Batch Sourdough Focaccia by i am a food blog is the perfect size for two. Sometimes I’ll just make it as a side for dinner.
Also, I know I have a sourdough bread recipe, but this Everyday No-Knead Sourdough Bread by Baked The Blog is bulletproof. I’m obsessed.
Speaking of baking, these Better Than Boxed Brownies from Broma Bakery rocked my world this weekend. They are decadent.
These Turkey Sloppy Joes by Billy Parisi are a staple dinner in our home. I admit, we do make them with ground beef…
The New York Times‘ Pasta with Sausage, Squash, and Sage Brown Butter just screams fall.
Also, the NYTimes Crisp Gnocchi with Brussels Sprouts and Brown Butter is *chefs kiss*.
I made this French Onion Salisbury Steak by The Salty Marshmallow for dinner last night, and it was all kinds of gravy goodness. Might add that one to the rotation.
Bon Appetit‘s BA Patty Melt is the perfect Saturday night feast with a cold IPA. Thank me later.
If you’re looking for *healthier* dessert options, these Fudgy Pumpkin Brownie Bites from the mothership, EatThis.com, are a personal fave.
The husband and I are huge fans of this Meatloaf recipe from Epicurious.
I actually haven’t made these yet, but they look charming: Brown Butter Pretzel Rice Krispies Treats by The Kitchn.
And lastly, would it be fall without a little Pumpkin Bread? I love the one from Smitten Kitchen.
