A Prosecco for the rest of us! I hope you get the reference…it felt fitting for this particularly special day. This little holiday prosecco really doesn’t take much, but it sure is pretty to look at. So I thought I would share, with a little toast to you and how far we’ve come this year.
I don’t really have any words for 2020. Usually I come to the end of the year reflecting on what happened, and while I did have a lot of time to work on some creative projects, this year was missing such a huge part of being a human: community. Sure, Zoom calls and socially distant hangs were able to occur, but it’s not the same. Holding loved ones close, sharing a table at Thanksgiving, ringing in the new year hand-in-hand. These are small yet such precious moments we share every single year, moments we missed dearly.
And so, I propose a toast. To new hopes and new dreams. To choosing joy and to looking forward to the sun that always rises each and every day. Because while we may not know what is to come, we still have this day. And all the blessings that come with it.
If you want to join me, this little drink is simple to make. Sprinkle in some fresh pomegranate seeds into your coupe glass, and pour the bubbly on top. It’s just a festive glass of sparkling wine, with little boozy pomegranate seeds to snack on after. We enjoyed this drink with a holiday charcuterie board this past weekend and it was the absolute perfect way to ring in this festive holiday week.

Just a quick note, I plan on taking the next few days off of blogging. I’ll be doing as much relaxing, enjoying, and loving this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day—and will be back with even more exciting content this weekend.
Have a lovely holiday everyone—and cheers!
